We like them and see them becoming at least for myself, the go to cup for that morning caffeine fix.This is not a travel mug and the lid is not designed to be used while you are drinking from the cup.Its purpose is just to lay on top of the cup if you have your coffee sitting to keep some heat in, not to keep liquid in as you drink. The opening in the edge of the lid is for a spoon not to drink through.It also doubles as a coaster if desired.You can find the spot on the bottom of the cup where it was hand blown but there should not be a hole as one review said to equalize pressure or temperature. If your has a hole, its a defect and you need to return it.They , being made of durable Borosilicate Glass are of course microwave and dishwasher safe.I like these, they are attractive and so far have been fine in the dishwasher. I haven't been using the lids yet, but haven't noticed my hot beverages staying warmer than in other cups, but I haven't really put this to the test and tend to finish things fairly quickly. I recommend these though, they are interesting and definitely light weight and seem easy care.These are so cute. They don't have the microwave or dishwasher picture on the bottom of the cup. The description says dishwasher and microwave safe. I haven't had a problem. I probably will handwash the lids.This is a cute little set of glasses. I bought these for work from home so I could see my cappuccinos and insulate them as I'm a slow drinker. Note the lids don't have any sort of sealing or stay put ness, they are strictly for use on a desk to keep the steam in--not when you are "on the go" as the liquid will spill. They are very lightweight (The pocket between the two layers of glass is hollow), easy to handle, and so far appear to be washing well in the dishwasher.Attractive coffee mug. Lightweight. Haven’t tried it with hot coffee yet. Would’ve preferred the wood lid had a rubber seal on it to prevent the lid coming off (in the car, etc). I think this would have a higher review from me if there was a larger option too.The lid, while not suction-y, keeps the drink hot and is even a bit spill-proof! Feels fragile but I’m real careful to hand wash it. There is a tiny hole in the bottom to equalize pressure in the airspace between layers of glass but I don’t immerse it to have issues. Rinsing it hasn’t leaked inside the layers.First day using them and one has already smashed. They feel so thin and barely feel like glass more so like plastic.This mug fell from the teal bench in photo (which is not very high) onto carpeted floor and it smashed into tiny pieces.Not impressed!!The only positive is that the lid keeps the drink hot, no use if there’s nothing to put the lid on though ??.Gave it a slight knock against wall tiles and it shattered. In my 60 years of life I've never broken a glass, cup or mug. Shame as I like the product. I bought two although now can't feel safe using the other oneKeeps hot drinks hot, although glass cups are of course inherently cool, right?. Size is very good, holds a little more than our normal small mugs. Perfect.Nice cups that hold heat well, I used a plastic grommet to plug the straw hole, to help stop heat loss.
