I have a kitty who has IBD and asthma and is on steroids and bronchodilators but still needs a special diet. He eats homemade "chicken thighs." We puree his chicken and squeeze it into these. It's a prefect way to get the right serving size and makes his meals freezable. While these are a pain in the rear to remove if the meal is frozen, once it's thawed, it's super easy. I barely need the muffin tins to set up the food either, since they're so sturdy. The colors are also pretty neat. I can color-code when a batch was made to keep track of it. They're also the least expensive "foil" muffin cups I've found.
