I like that it's a bed that my toddler can sleep in. Other than that, I can't come up with anything else I like about it. I was excited for the little door on it, but it sucks. Very flimsy even when it's closed and latched. It needs a second latch on the bottom as well as the top. And the flimsiness of it when it's opened? You may as well just through a mattress on the floor without a frame around it. I do understand some of it being simple physics, but it's flimsier than a plastic bag in the wind. My toddler is a climber so we HAVE to keep it shut and latched and the door has to face the wall, otherwise he opens it himself and then still tries to climb over the side. Very unsafe for my kind of kids that like to climb and get wild. I wish I had bought a traditional toddler bed like a racecar instead of wasting my money on the NAME of this thing. I assumed Montessori would be automatically wonderful, don't let the name fool you. Buy something else.
