Bought this as a Christmas present for my wife because she loves orange!She loved the color of this appliance.It is also a very nice coffee maker that she really likes.1. Has a stainless steel carafe.2. Carafe can be removed before brewing is complete. So she can be drinking coffee as the rest of the pot is being made.3. The water tank is removable.4. The water tank is marked (in English!!) for the correct amount of water for hot and iced coffee.5. There is an ‘adapter’ that allows a cup to be used rather than the carafe. The adapter also allows for early removal of the cup.6. Brews quickly.7. It is short and compact. My wife stores it in a ‘appliance garage’ on our countertop. Fits in there with no issues at all.Other reviewers have mentioned the lack of English instructions. That is true.However, the instructions have lots of pictures so it is pretty easy to figure it out.It isn’t that complicated. Easier than Ikea installation instructions!It does require the ‘cone’ style filters. I believe it is the #2 size.My wife noted that the lid for the carafe just sits on the carafe.Her previous makers had the lid attached to the carafe. Not sure how big of a deal that is.We are very pleased with this item.
